Partner: Mohammed Al Marri is a Partner in Qatar’s Litigation practice. Mohammed is one of two of our Qatar-based litigation lawyers who has full rights of audience before the courts of Qatar. Mohammed Al Marri is a highly experienced Qatari litigator who consults for both private and corporate clients in Qatar, since establishing his own practice in 2001. Prior to establishing his practice, Mohammed worked for the Ministry of the Interior and the Police Academy in Egypt. Mohammed has been involved in high profile litigation matters in relation to banking cases, commercial agencies, trademarks, construction, debt recovery, employment and property. Mohammed regularly advises clients and conducts all types of litigation and arbitration cases in Qatar including commercial, employment and banking. Mohammed is routinely involved in negotiations with Qatar’s regulatory authorities namely, The Qatar Central Bank, Qatar Exchange and various Ministries. He assists in obtaining regulatory approvals required for completing transactions for the firm’s clients and launching new products for banks and insurance companies in Qatar. When required Mohammed also facilitates the registration of complex security structures with the relevant authorities in Qatar.
