Ahmed is an Egyptian national. He practiced as an Attorney in leading Law Firms and through his own private practice office in Cairo, Egypt for 8 years. He was engaged with providing legal services and consultations in various areas of law, attending Court hearings, drafting and following up various cases that are related to banking, commercial, civil and criminal, in addition to providing consultations and arrangement of agreements and contracts for both corporate as well as individual clients.
From 2006 until 2008 he practiced as a Legal Advisor in a Law Firm in the UAE. He was engaged with providing legal services and consultations in various areas of law, as well as drafting, finalizing contracts, memorandums, agreements, and deeds.
In 2008 he was appointed as Head of Legal for the Investment & Finance Property Management in a leading Bank in the UAE, His role involved handling and supervising the entire legal function of the department, drafting, reviewing contracts, agreements and legal memorandums, and dealt deeply with cases related to Islamic Finance and all its forms, besides assisting in developing and modifying policies and procedures to conform to legal requirements.
Ahmed joined Al Tamimi & Co towards the end of 2012. He is actively engaged with providing legal services and consultations in various areas of law, drafting and following up various cases in the litigation department that are related to banking, criminal, commercial, civil and Islamic finance.
