Aro graduated from the American University of Iraq, Slemani in 2016 with a B.A. in International Studies and from the University of Leicester Law School in 2018 with an LLB. Following a year in the trainee lawyer role supporting his colleagues in a range of departments he successfully applied for an Associate position in the Spring of 2019.
