El-Ameir Noor is a litigation specialist with experience in civil, commercial and criminal law. After graduating from the University of Khartoum with an LL.B. in 1984, El-Ameir went on to obtain his practicing certificate from the Sudanese Legal Association in 1985.
After his university studies, he practiced in Sudan for ten years, specialising in civil and commercial litigation. In 1993 he was empowered by the Sudanese Judicial Council to act as a commissioner for oaths. He is also a member of the Sudanese Bar Association.
El-Ameir Noor joined Al Tamimi & Company’s Litigation department in 1996. He handles major litigation issues and provides legal advisory and consultation for various local and international clients.
El-Ameir Noor specializes and provides assistance of litigation and consultation on various aspects of the law and business with principal focus on commercial disputes such as commercial agencies, banking, insurance, corporate disputes, IP disputes, real estate and employment disputes.
Some examples of the major matters handled by El Ameir Noor include assisting an international bank in a dispute over US $ 4 billion ,assisting an international telecom company in defending a major patent infringement claim of US $ 100 million ( the first dispute of its kind in the UAE), assisting various international principal (manufacturers) on various commercial agency disputes over US $ 6 billion.
