Fatma also has experience in incorporating different types of companies in Oman within the free zones and mainland. She attends Annual General Meetings and Extraordinary General Meetings for SAOC’s. Fatma also has experience in corporate restructuring, corporate governance and has worked with a variety of private investors and companies from the USA, UK, Europe, Africa and the Middle East undertaking deals in the Middle East.
Having qualified in the Omani jurisdiction, Fatma is admitted before the Omani courts and has rights of audience before the primary courts. She also has vast experience in competition, intellectual property, and customs and has advised clients on a variety of employment matters. She has full understanding of the law requirements in Oman and the practice of the Omani market. She has established great relationships with different Governmental bodies in Oman.
Fatma’s experience extends to other practice areas including the Technology, Media and Telecommunication practice, Fatma has been working in Oman for 5 years and she is currently an Associate in our Digital & Data (Tech | Media | Telecoms) team, based in Dubai. Fatma possesses experience in different digital and data matters such as advising clients on data protection laws in Oman, DIFC and the ADGM, reviewing IT and media contracts, drafting data protection policies and advising clients on general cybersecurity issues. Fatma works closely with the digital and data team and provides support in a variety of digital and data matters in both Oman and the UAE.
