Biography
Hamzah joined the Corporate Commercial team in Jordan of Al Tamimi & Company coming from Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP in Dubai.
He has over 10 years’ experience advising on private and public mergers & acquisitions, equity capital markets in addition to providing general structuring and corporate consultancies. He advised clients on transactions across the GCC including the UAE, Oman, Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain. He has particular expertise in public and private M&A and transactional work.
Hamzah has worked and practiced law in Jordan, UAE and Qatar.

- Abu Dhabi National Oil Company and Borealis AG on the listing of their joint venture Borouge PLC on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange.
- Dubai Holding LLC on its disposal of the Dubai Creek Harbour project to Emaar PJSC in exchange for cash and a mandatory convertible instrument.
- Dubai Islamic Bank PJSC in its role as Lead Manager to the listing of Bayanat AI PLC on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange.
- Agthia Group on the disposal of its interest in Palmera Dates Company in Jordan.
- Oman Telecommunications Company on the sell-side auction process for the sale of its passive mobile tower infrastructure assets to Helios Towers plc.
- Agthia Group on its acquisition of a majority stake in Nabil Foods through an indirect stake of 60% from ADQ in consideration for a mandatory convertible instrument.
- Abu Dhabi Developmental Holding Company PJSC (ADQ) on its acquisition of a 22.2% stake in Aramex PJSC.
- The founder of DAMAC Properties on his public tender offer for the acquisition of 100% of the share capital of DAMAC followed by a squeeze out of minorities and de-listing of DAMAC.
- Kuwait Finance House KSCP on its cross-border acquisition by way of share swap of Ahli United Bank BSC in Bahrain.
- Invest Bank PJSC in relation to a capital restructuring by way of strategic investment from the Government of Sharjah.
- First Gulf Bank PJSC on its merger with National Bank of Abu Dhabi PJSC creating First Abu Dhabi Bank PJSC.
- Barwa Bank Q.S.C. in Qatar on its merger with International Bank of Qatar Q.S.C.
