Read NowHussain Almatrood is a US trained lawyer working in the litigation department at Al Tamimi & Company (DIFC office) since 2012. He is involved in Arabic and English matters appearing before UAE Courts, DIFC Courts and arbitration proceedings. He is also a member of the Michigan State Bar.
He is advising on and handling litigation matters relating to real estate, commercial and civil disputes as well as various criminal and estate planning issues. His experience includes claims before all levels of the Dubai Courts, the DIFC Courts, special committees and courts of other Emirates as well as advising on various international litigation disputes. He also works on cases involving enforcement of arbitration awards in the UAE, setting aside arbitration awards as well as advising on ongoing arbitration proceedings at the ICC, LCIA, and DIAC. His clients include banks, real estate developers, local investors and multi-national companies.
