Biography

Khalid is an associate for Al Tamimi and Company’s Corporate Commercial department in Al Khobar. Before joining the firm, he took his internship at the Dubai Courts in the Dubai International Financial Centre, then became a legal associate for Dammam Airports Company (DACO). Khalid gained significant experience, having worked with various government and local companies.

Recent Experience

Corporate Tasks such as:
Advising clients under KSA laws such as providing advice on distribution agreements and processes in Saudi Arabia.
Merger and acquisition due diligence.
Reviewing and amending agreements under KSA laws.
Drafting contracts.
Dispute resolution tasks such as:
Advising clients on litigation matters and provide options to resolve their disputes.
Representing clients in disputes before commercial court, labor court and criminal court.
Assisting clients with enforcing their judgments before the enforcement court.
Handling debt recovery matters including cheque without balance matters.
Employment tasks such as:
Advising clients on employment matters under KSA laws.
Advising on new labor programs and requirements.
Representing clients before labor committee and court.
Previous Work Practice:
Aug 2019 – May 2021
Led the legal part of the Concession program including drafting of the agreement in cooperation with the external legal consultants.
Member in policy and procedure committee.
Member in the bid awarding committee.
Provide legal advice and support to all DACO functions.
Participated in the Assets transfer project of the first cluster in preparing contracts, agreement templates, SLAs and novation notices.
