Biography
Since joining Al Tamimi & Company in 2017, Lina has cultivated a comprehensive understanding of the KSA legal landscape through practicing in different areas of law, including Litigation, Arbitration, Corporate Structuring, Corporate Commercial, Regulatory and Government Projects.
Being a member of the Dispute Resolution department allowed Lina to work on a variety of mandates, including providing pre-litigation advisory, as well as advising on litigation and ADR strategy and procedures, enforceability of foreign judgments and arbitral awards, and investigations and violations in connection with the different KSA Laws. She also has experience in advising on strategic government regulatory projects and corporate commercial mandates.
Lina is appointed as the focal point of contact for many individual, corporate, and government clients and is responsible for managing different clients’ files.

Dispute Resolution:
- Successfully advised and represented a major KSA contracting company in a SAR 130M arbitration dispute, as well as other arbitration claims in the construction industry.
- Successfully advised and represented a sport ticketing and merchandise supplier in arbitration disputes against KSA football clubs, as well as other arbitration claims in the football sector.
- Advising a prominent KSA merchant family valued at a net worth of SAR 2 billion on matters relating to shareholders’ disputes, family disputes, a cross-jurisdictional meditation settlement, and group restructuring.
- Advising contracting companies in relation to investigations by regulatory authorities, addressing potential violations of different KSA laws and providing personnel training for the investigations.
- Successfully advised and represented aircraft owners in claims against the lessee’s corporate guarantor, concluding in a favourable settlement arrangement for our clients.
- Advising and representing one of the biggest watchmakers in shareholders’ disputes, resulting in liquidating their JV with a KSA shareholder.
- Advising and representing a shareholder and board member of a leading KSA manpower company in a dispute, resulting in existing the company and a favourable settlement for our client.
- Advising multiple Japanese general trading companies and steelmakers regarding their potential disputes with KSA commercial agents.
- Advising one of the biggest CPGs globally in relation to criminal liabilities of their executives.
Regulatory and Government Projects:
- Leading Al Tamimi & Company team in a key governmental project concerning the establishment of a Special Zones Centre.
- Handling and managing the legal workstream for a key KSA Royal Commission’s project.
- Advising a major real estate development company regarding their application to establish a Special Zone in KSA by assisting in creating the legal framework and drafting the relevant agreements, laws and regulations.
- Advising and participating in preparing financial support governance, mechanisms, and regulations for a KSA ministry.
Corporate Commercial & Relevant:
- Advising a major KSA entertainment company regarding engagements with suppliers and talents in the entertainment sector.
- Advising a PIF-owned company regarding lease arrangements with tenants and relevant correspondences involving different KSA authorities.
- Advising one of the biggest universities in KSA on commercial, real estate and employment arrangements, involving various KSA authority bodies.
- Advising a large hospital operator in a deal involving operating a local hospital and negotiating the terms therein.
- Advising multiple prominent merchant families in KSA on different corporate mandates, including corporate restructuring for business continuity and optimal cash flow, and guidance on establishing and managing charitable organisations.
- Working on legal due diligence reports in M&A transactions, covering compliance, corporate, commercial, employment, real estate and dispute resolution sections.
- Advising a South Korean multinational manufacturing conglomerate regarding establishing their KSA company and restructuring their KSA business.
