Biography
Lynsey Grossi is a Senior Associate within the real estate and hospitality team.
Lynsey works closely with our international, regional, and domestic clients including developers, owners, investors, operators, funds, investment managers, and financial institutions advising them on the acquisition and disposal of commercial property, property development, joint ventures, sale/leasebacks, build-to-suit, commercial leasing, and hospitality. Lynsey is experienced in a wide range of public and private real estate and corporate real estate transactions. Lynsey brings a wealth of experience from her fifteen-year career in Real Estate across the United Kingdom, Australia, and MENA regions.
Recent Experience
- Advising on the sale and lease back in respect of premises valued at AED 120 million in National Industries Park, Dubai on behalf of Lals Group.
- Advising Paris Society in connection with its hospitality assets in the GCC, including the leasing of prime hospitality premises.
- Preparing a portfolio of leasing precedents for Masdar in Abu Dhabi.
- Advising a UK REIT in connection with its acquisition of a large portfolio of real estate assets across the GCC.
- Acting for Galadari Group in the lease of premises valued at approximately AED 3 million per year.
- Acting for Apollo Global Management in relation to the due diligence of real estate assets in relation to its USD 400 million investment with Aldar.
- Acting for Peninsula Real Estate Management Limited in relation to the purchase of land to the value of AED 555 million in Abu Dhabi.
- Advising on a build-to-suit lease for a hospital in KSA.
- Advising a well-known Spanish hospitality entity on its lease and hospitality management agreements in Dubai.
- Advising a US developer on jointly owned property documentation for a residential suburb and golf course in Dubai.
- Negotiating demerger deeds and landlord consents for hotels, taverns, and liquor stores across Australia in preparation for the demerger of the AUD $12 billion Endeavour Group from Woolworths Group.
- Negotiating leases for retail and hospitality venues for Woolworths Group, ALH Group, and Endeavour Group.
- Negotiating leases for Brookfield.
- Acting for various hotel owners in relation to land acquisitions, project development agreements, hotel management agreements, and licensing service agreements in Australia and MENA region.
