Biography

Maysa is an Associate based in our Qatar office, who is a member of the Dispute Resolution team.

As a qualified attorney at law registered at the Beirut Bar Association since 2015, she has extensive experience in litigation, legal research, and contracts. Her focus has been on handling construction disputes in Qatar, and she has represented and advised various clients, including banks, construction JVs, holding companies, and tech firms. She holds an LLM degree in European Law with double specializations in Arbitration and International Investments.

  • Recently participated in arbitration for a banking-fintech dispute, a multi-million-dollar case before QICCA between an international bank and an international fintech company.
  • Assessed and advised several top-notch construction companies on claims before ICC and QICCA.
  • Handled an extensive number of litigation proceedings, including assessing, reviewing documents, and drafting memos for courts for multi-complex construction claims.
  • Advised joint ventures (JVs) on matters related to major projects in Qatar, such as Doha Metro, Sidra Medical & Research Center, Salwa Road North Relief, and Hamad International Airport Expansion projects.
  • Drafted various types of contracts to set out and facilitate commercial relations, project management , legal compliance, employment matters, and settlement of disputes.
