Biography
Osama Daneshyar is a Senior Counsel in the regional White Collar Crime practice in Dubai.
Osama has a wealth of experience as a barrister in the UK and had a busy and very successful practice. Specialising in criminal law, he had appeared in many of the most complex and high profile cases, several of which were reported in the Law Reports.
Osama built a reputation for undertaking complex financial crime cases, which led to a two year secondment in Cairo, prior to joining Al Tamimi & Company.
Recent Experience
- Advised in cross-border corruption and extradition proceedings;
- Advising banks and state authorities in relation to fraud investigations, including an ongoing transnational investigation.
