Biography

Osama is a Tax Executive based in our Riyadh office in KSA, with over 5 years of experience advising clients and assisting them with their tax affairs. Prior to joining Al Tamimi, he worked in the tax practice with 1 of the big 4 audit and consultancy firms and 1 of the top 10 audit and consultancy firms in Riyadh.

Osama specializes in assisting international and local companies in KSA on corporate tax, withholding tax and zakat matters including capital gains, double tax treaties, and other related tax and zakat services across multiple industries including airlines, telecommunications, healthcare, consulting, media, oil and gas and construction among others.

Recent Experience

Advised a foreign airline company on the tax implications and considerations of operating flights to and from Saudi Arabia.
Advised clients on potential reliefs pursuant to several international double tax treaties and assisted in the process of submitting tax refund claims and appeals.
Assisted several large international and local companies with ongoing tax and zakat audits before ZATCA and the GSTC.
Assisting several local and multinational clients with their income tax, zakat, withholding and VAT compliance filings.
Advising a UK entity on the tax implications of transferring of shares to one of the companies employees.
Actively acting for multinational corporations, financial institutions, a real estate developer, construction contractors and consulting firms in complex, high-value tax and VAT litigation disputes.
Advised a large technology company on the tax considerations and implications of establishing an entity in Saudi Arabia and the tax impact on certain transactions.
