Taimur is an active member of the Corporate Commercial team in Bahrain and is involved in all relevant matters the Bahrain office is engaged in and assists the lead team member in such matters. He deals with various corporate commercial clients of the firm, based in and outside Bahrain, including financial institutions, leading real estate / hotel & leisure and food and beverage companies and numerous foreign principals.

• Edge Connex Inc., a USA based edge data service provider, advising the client on the entry into a joint venture with a regional telecom company to establish a data center in Bahrain.
• GFH Financial Group B.S.C, a financial investment group based in the Kingdom of Bahrain, advised the client on an asset swap transaction.
• Majid AL Futtaim Properties LLC, a leading real estate, hotel & leisure business group, engaged in operation of hotels and shopping malls, advising the client on contractual documentation for a new food & beverage project in Bahrain.
• BAPCO, advised foreign counsel on overhaul of contractual arrangements between joint venture partners, including the joint venture agreement, sub-lease agreement, tankage & wharfage agreement, operating and maintenance agreement and other supply agreements.
• Part of team member advising a leading financial institution in Bahrain in a share sale and purchase transaction, whereby the client is selling its entire shareholding in a Bahrain based CBB licensed entity, work involves contractual documentation and assistance with due diligence process.
• Key team member of team which advised a leading financial investment group in relation to acquisition of majority shares in a Bahrain based entity from education sector, work involved undertaking the due diligence, preparing share purchase agreement and shareholders’ agreement.
