Biography

Jody is the Managing Partner of Al Tamimi and also Head of Banking & Finance across the MENA region. He brings over 17 years of experience practicing in the Middle East. Jody has extensive expertise in advising regulators, banks, finance companies, investment banks, and other financial institutions on a wide range of banking and finance matters.  He maintains a strong client roster featuring a number of major international banks as well as some of the region’s leading banks and financial institutions and regularly advises borrowers on corporate and property development financing transactions.

Jody is ranked across all leading legal directories confirming he is a respected practitioner, Legal 500 describes him as ‘technically excellent and diligent’.

  • Advising the lenders in relation to a AED 1.2bn Islamic (Istisna and Forward Ijara) financing for construction of sixteen residential projects in Dubai
  • Advising the lenders on the Sweihan solar power plant in Abu Dhabi
