Al Tamimi & Company is delighted to announce that it has further strengthened its Qatar offering with the appointment of new Partner and Regional Head of Construction & Infrastructure, Andrew Symms.
Andrew has over 30 years’ experience advising on the full spectrum of construction and engineering legal matters, including all forms of international dispute resolution. He has worked across many jurisdictions and joins us from DWF where he was Partner for several years. He previously worked as a Partner with other leading international law firms and acted as Legal Counsel for the Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympic Games.
He has exceptional multi-sector experience, particularly in relation to the legal and commercial issues surrounding the delivery of large projects ranging from residential and commercial buildings to international sporting venues to roads, power stations, transmission lines, water treatment facilities and process plants. His clients include construction and engineering companies, energy companies, airports, airlines, property developers, consultants, public authorities, governments and sports organisations.
